We offer comfortable and cosy accommodation in our 18th century restored and converted barn.

​We are situated in the picturesque village of Alton just 1.5 miles from the entrance to Alton Towers Theme Park. Uttoxeter Racecourse is around 15 minutes away by car and Stoke Potteries about 30 minutes.

 

We are within walking distance of several local pubs and restaurants. Enjoy the convenience of off-street parking during your stay.

Tythe  (or tithe) is Old English for 'tenth'. In past centuries a tithe or one tenth of the annual produce of land or labour was taken as a tax for the Church. These payments were held in tythe barns.
